PLATFORM PROTECTION

Systems integration engineering

Our protection solutions are holistic, each component engineered for interconnectivity with the entirety of your platform. This begins with development of a materials-specific design concept drawn from our specialised expertise in the combining of textile fibres with steel, ceramics, and other anti-ballistic protective materials. Conceptualisation is guided by our belief that a solution capable of meeting overall system integration requirements is one that balances performance against cost.

Comprehensive ballistic testing

Maximum quality in mission with maximum protection is our goal – extensive proof in the field of ballistic tests as well as blast are the way to get there. We carry out ballistic tets of armour systems on shooting ranges of up to 2,500m. The test spectra include civilian and military threat scenarios.

Testing services include:

Projectile analysis (spatial orientation and velocity measurement)
Target analysis (residual energy measurement, camera recordings, destruction volumes, behind-armour effects)
Statistical evaluation (determination of V50 limiting-penetration velocity, methodology for quality assurance)
Examinations specific to blast, mine, and RPG threats

In order to determine the effects on armour systems due to environmental influences and interactions with the weapon system, we carry out extensive material tests in accordance with common civil and military test standards.
